Description
Sword Masters Challenge’s Gothic Axe is a 90 cm LARP weapon with a 28 cm blade, curved claw, and piercing spike for versatile combat. Sculpted and painted to resemble forged steel with brass accents, the head attaches securely to a shaft finished to match. Built around a fiberglass core with closed-cell foam and a latex coating, it balances safety, durability, and grim style.

History
Axes, cheaper than swords yet devastating in war, evolved through the medieval age with hooks and spikes to tear shields, disarm foes, and unhorse riders. The Gothic Axe draws from this tradition, reimagined in dark fantasy as both relic and weapon.
